A cozy stay by the castle
The dinner on the terrace offered a stunning view of Monforte Castle, making for a memorable dining experience. The staff greeted us warmly, and the homemade pastries at breakfast were delightful.
However, the furnishings in our room felt a bit outdated and could benefit from some upgrades. Parking was somewhat tricky, requiring us to haul our luggage a distance upon arrival.

The atmosphere feels dreary with outdated furnishings that clearly need an upgrade!!! It's hard to enjoy the stay when amenities like air conditioning and working safety boxes are out of commission!!!

The hotel has a fantastic location, near the heart of Campobasso, making it easy to explore. My room featured a comfortable queen bed and a nice balcony, perfect for fresh air. Breakfast included a good variety, and I loved the pastries available. I appreciated the attentive staff, particularly AnneMarie at the front desk. However, the air conditioning in my room did not work properly, which was a bit uncomfortable. The front desk could improve on their English proficiency, as communication was sometimes challenging. The bathroom felt slightly cramped, and the shower had some operation issues. These aspects could definitely benefit from an upgrade to enhance comfort and convenience.

Couple's Ideal Getaway
After a long day traveling, we were welcomed like old friends. The room was excellent, relatively recently renovated, and the evening meal was incredible in a very relaxed atmosphere.
It wasn't cheap, but still acceptable.

Great stay with delicious breakfasts!
We had a nice room with a comfy queen bed and a balcony, which was perfect for getting some fresh air. The staff, especially AnneMarie at the front desk, were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a highlight with lots of tasty options. We did find the parking a bit tricky at times, though.

San Giorgio served as an excellent base for exploring Campobasso and Molise, providing a good bedroom with recently renovated amenities. The restaurant offered some of the best cuisine in the area, and dining on the terrace with a view of Monforte Castle was a memorable experience.
Some limited amenities and confusion during breakfast.
